Where I-20 meets I-10
When you first get to Texas, the mile marker reads 837. We didn't actually travel I-10 the whole way. Our exit was 34 - this is a welcome sign still over 100 miles from home.
Thank goodness for this.........not so good for gas mileage
The terrain is pretty much the same (it is a desert) but I do welcome the sight of the mountains. No trees to block the view (or give shade for that matter)
